Well, I've taken a leap of faith today by creating a blog in which I'll share crafty items that I'm working on or that I've completed. I've been crafting since I was a girl working on projects with my Mom and these are some of my favorite childhood memories. We painted pottery, did cross stitch, made macramé and latch hook (remember those--I may be dating myself). Over the years, I've tried different crafts and mediums--some have been big HUGE failures (like getting a D in my college pottery class--not everyone can be Demi Moore in Ghost) and some have been HUGE successes (like sending out 40+ handmade holiday cards). That's life, right? We can't all be good at everything!
My current crafting obsessions include stamping and paper crafting, creating anything with my Silhouette Cameo (vinyl, rhinestones, paper, fabric), crochet, sewing, and cooking/baking. The hubster says I always have a million projects going on at once and he might be kinda right, but let's not tell him that ;-) And there are so many other creative pursuits that I still want to tackle, like I really want to learn quilting, do brush lettering, photography, memory-keeping (Project Life style because I don't want to fuss with artistic 12x12 scrapbook layouts), and maybe painting (watercolor & acrylics). I'm not sure what my next crafting adventures will be, but I'll share my crafting journey with you and hopefully we can have some fun together and make some beautiful things!! Here we go...
